Privacy Policy

AI Wingman is operated by New Wave Logistics LLC dba AI Wingman. We collect what we need to make the product work — your wingman config, chats, photos you upload, payment info via Stripe. We don't sell your data. We don't train AI models on your data. You can delete everything any time.

From you directly: wingman name, age range, city, dating goal, chat messages with your AI wingman and practice matches, optional photos you upload to your dating profile, optional bio and prompt answers, and any feedback you send us.

From Stripe (when you subscribe): email address, Stripe customer ID, subscription status, amount paid, renewal dates. We never see your full card number — that goes directly to Stripe.

Automatically: standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps), used for security and rate-limiting. Retained 30 days.

Run the product (chat with the AI, score your profile, generate suggestions, gate premium features). Bill you. Send transactional emails (payment receipts, password / login links, account changes). Improve the product (aggregate, anonymized usage). Investigate abuse, fraud, or terms violations.

AI providers: Google (Gemini API) and OpenAI (TTS-1, gpt-image-1) receive prompts and, where you've opted in, photos you upload. We send them only what's needed to generate a response. Their use is governed by their respective Terms and Data Processing Addenda. We do not allow these providers to train on your data where their APIs offer that opt-out, and they don't by default for paid API tiers.

Stripe: handles payments. They see your email, payment method, billing address. They don't see your chats or photos.

Hosting: Vercel hosts the website. Supabase hosts your account data (when you sign in to save progress).

We don't sell your data to advertisers, brokers, or anyone else.

Browser localStorage (your device only) for unauthenticated users. Once you sign in, your wingman config, memories, and dating profile sync to our database (Supabase, hosted in the US). Photos you upload are processed in-memory by our AI providers and stored encrypted at rest in your account row. Chat messages are stored client-side; they don't leave your device unless you sign in.

Access: email hello@aiwingman.date for a copy of your data.

Delete: use the "Reset everything" button in Settings, or email us. Deletion removes your account row, photos, chats, and Stripe customer record. We can't delete data already shared with payment processors required for tax / fraud / chargeback compliance (typically retained 7 years per IRS / Stripe requirements).

Cancel subscription: via the Stripe portal in Settings.

California / GDPR / CCPA residents: you have additional rights under your local laws (data portability, opt-out of "sale" — note we don't sell data to begin with). Email us to exercise them.

AI Wingman is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used AI Wingman, email us and we'll delete their data.

We set one essential cookie (aiw_id) to keep you signed in and verify your subscription on the server. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Production servers use TLS 1.2+. Cookies are HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Database access is restricted to authenticated services. We're a small team — we follow industry best practices, but no system is 100% secure. If you spot a vulnerability, please report it to hello@aiwingman.date.

If we materially change this policy, we'll email subscribers and update the effective date above.
